Your GitHub is cool, but big companies still need a PDF Resume.

The Golden Rule: Impact > Responsibility
Bad: "Responsible for maintaining the database." (Describes the job) Good: "Reduced database query latency by 40% by implementing Redis caching, saving $2k/mo in AWS costs." (Describes the IMPACT)
Always quantify your work. Numbers ($, %, ms) stand out to skimmers.
The ATS (Robot) Check
- Single Column: Multi-column layouts often confuse parsers.
- Standard Headings: Use "Experience", "Education", "Skills". Don't get cute with "My Journey" or "Arsenal".
- Keywords: If the job asks for "TypeScript", ensure "TypeScript" appears natively in your text, not just white text in the footer.
Length
One Page. Unless you have 10+ years of experience, you do not need 2 pages. Ruthlessly cut older internships or irrelevant waiting jobs.
The "Skills" Section
Group them logically, and sort by proficiency:
- Languages: JavaScript (Expert), Python (Proficient), Rust (Basic).
- Technologies: React, Next.js, Docker, AWS (EC2/S3).

Which of these bullet points is the STRONGEST for a resume?
Conclusion
Your resume isn't a biography. It is a marketing flyer. Its only job is to get you a phone screen. Optimizing for clarity is the best way to convert applications to interviews.
